The room you know.
A finish you’ll love.
Walls, ceilings, doors and the little details around them. A considered refresh starts with the whole room, not just a paint colour.

Start with what needs changing.
A tired ceiling, scuffed skirting or an old colour underneath can all affect the plan. Tell us which surfaces you want decorated, what condition they are in and whether the room will stay in use.
Walls & ceilings
Discuss filling small surface imperfections, preparing sound existing coatings and choosing a finish suited to how the room is used. Persistent damp, active cracks and loose plaster need assessment before decoration; paint alone is not a repair.
Doors, frames & skirting
Include the number of doors, frames and other painted trim in your brief. Existing coatings and the finish you want help shape the preparation and materials required.
A quote that describes the work
Ask for rooms and surfaces to be listed, together with preparation, paint supply, access arrangements and any exclusions. Larger repairs or specialist treatments should be discussed separately rather than assumed.
A few useful questions.
Do I need to choose a colour first?
No. Start with the room and the change you want. A shortlist of colours can then be tested in the actual light before making a final choice.
What about furniture and floor protection?
Agree which items need moving, who will move them, how floors will be covered and where materials can be kept. Mention large furniture and access restrictions early.
How long will the room be out of use?
That depends on preparation, the coating system and drying conditions. Ask for a room-by-room sequence and guidance for returning furniture before work is agreed.
What would you like
to come home to?
