Storm-damaged and dangerous tree advice
Urgent make-safe advice without overpromising: keep clear, send photos only if safe and get a risk-aware next step.
Unsafe or storm-damaged tree? Call 01273 000 418 for make-safe advice.

Warning signs
- Split limbs or torn bark
- A new lean after high winds
- Cracking soil or lifting roots
- Hanging branches or limbs on roofs/fences
- Branches near highways or services
What to do now
Keep people clear. Do not cut hung-up limbs or climb the tree. If there is danger to life, highway obstruction or power-line contact, use emergency services or the utility provider first.
How triage works
Phone/photos can help decide whether a make-safe visit, site survey or planned pruning/removal quote is the right next step.
Storm branch or unsafe tree
Storm damage or an unsafe tree?
If a branch has split, a tree has shifted or a limb is resting on a roof, fence or road edge, do not try to cut it yourself. Call for make-safe advice and send photos if it is safe to do so.
If there is immediate danger to life, public highway obstruction or contact with power lines, use the appropriate emergency services or utility provider first.
Survey request
Tell us about the tree and we’ll suggest the next step
Share the location, what you are worried about and whether you have photos. We will usually start by deciding whether photo advice is enough or whether a site survey is needed before quoting.
